Do you like the idea or get a buzz from seeing something in the public facing media and thinking “I created that”?
What about producing content that plays it part in helping to transform the lives of others?
Pretty powerful stuff. And that’s the opportunity right here. Come and bring your creative design ability where you’ll be challenged and given the space to develop and hone your skills.
Ranging from illustration, graphic design, typography, and simple, yet effective, animation, our inhouse creative Design team produce high quality digital and print assets for internal customers across the business, which continues to bring The 1:1 Diet brand identity to life through creative design.
This is a multi-disciplinary role, we won’t pigeonhole you to a design specialism, and no 2 days are the same. Design work could include graphic, UX/UI, video editing, animation and/or art direction, taking concept from initial brief through to final output. Check out our FB and Insta to see the type of work we produce.
It’s typically a fast-paced environment, which can mean working to tight and conflicting deadlines at times, but we stay connected and brave to rise to the occasion.
You’ll get to work hybrid, typically spending 3 days per week at our Global HQ in Corby and be given a MacBook to ply your trade.
Day to day you will find yourself;
- Bringing brand characters and assets to life through animation and character rigging
- Being a brand champion - reviewing design requirements and managing stakeholder expectations
- Storyboarding, creating mood boards and/or prototypes
- Ensuring design and messaging convey the correct brand messaging and guidelines/style guides are followed
- Overseeing product photoshoots and preparing photography briefs
- Creating social first content, including video and real creation and editing
Is this the right opportunity for me?
It goes without saying, you'll need to be a dab hand with the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects but also Photoshop, Premier Pro, InDesign and Illustrator. Plus, you would've already gained commercial design experience which would've likely involved activity across brand identity, social, web and events.
You'll also;
- Have a mix of graphic design, illustrative (both digital and hand-drawn) and typographic skills
- Bring a high attention to detail
- Be confident working to tight deadlines and competing priorities
- Be pro-active in your approach
- Understand the importance of solid cross-functional working relationships and how to build them
As part of our interview process, we’ll also like you to share your portfolio/showreel of work to understand the different projects you’ve worked on.
