As the Senior Commercial Planning & Analytics Manager at The 1:1 Diet, you'll be instrumental in crafting a new planning cycle and roadmap that will steer our entire commercial function

This will be no different, as you set the tone through developing best practice, creating a Centre of Excellence style commercial planning framework, and guiding functional members through the commercial planning cycle that ensures alignment to overarching commercial objectives.
 
Location: Corby, Northants with hybrid working – our Commercial teams typically collaborate onsite with each other on a Monday and Tuesday, there will also need to be flexibility for being on site on other days throughout the week based on business requirements

What will I be doing?
This is a brand-new role, where you’ll be partnering closely with each of our commercial teams - Sales, Marketing & Communications, IT & Digital and Product (NPD) – supporting data-driven decision making through effective analytics and insight, that enables the successful execution of GTM, Field and Product strategies. All whilst maintaining the integrity of the overall plan and considering resource and capacity in specific teams.
 
You'll unlock commercial viability across all facets of our operation. From establishing robust deliverables to integrating Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Stage & Gate (S&G) processes, your work will lay the foundation for our strategic pursuits. Working closely with the Commercial Data and Analytics Manager (Sales) and your direct report, the Marketing Data and Insights Analyst, you will delve into the data, interpreting what it reveals about our current operations and identifying opportunities to enhance future activities.

In the short term, you’ll add significant value through creating internal efficiencies which, in the medium to long term, will result in further ROI and building on the bottom line.
 
Day to day this will also involve;
  • Being the champion of the commercial framework, leading the development of streamlined processes and meticulously measuring their success
  • Leading and developing a direct report focused on marketing campaign reporting, pricing modelling and ROI effectiveness
  • Educate and guide the commercial team through the planning process and align with other organisational processes, fostering collaboration and strategic problem-solving 
  • Prepare templates and provide supporting data for monthly/quarterly business reviews to support business planning requests from functional heads
This role is about more than just managing numbers; it’s about translating complex data into a clear, actionable strategy that aligns with our overarching goals. You will be the architect of a planning framework that not only responds to current market dynamics but also anticipates future trends, positioning The 1:1 Diet for continued success.

  • Experience in sales/marketing commercial operations and the factors/drivers impact revenue generation
  • Effective leadership and stakeholder management skills that nurture collaboration and cross-functional problem solving
  • Ability to understand long term business strategy and deliver to achieve desired change and/or benefit realisation
  • Highly organised, proactive, and adaptable to changing situations, with excellent judgment and flexibility
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
