About The Role

You’ll see first hand the fundamental impact you can have, at the very beginning of our new commercial strategy, in a newly created role designed to create and own our digital marketing strategy across our owned and earned channels.

Location: Corby, Northants with hybrid working – our Commercial teams typically collaborate onsite with each other on a Monday and Tuesday, there will also need to be flexibility for being on site on other days throughout the week based on business requirements

What will I be doing?
Ultimately, you’ll be responsible for driving growth across our online brand presence through effective campaigns and initiatives, with channels spanning our website, newly launched app, social, email and paid advertising.

We’re at the start of our digital journey here though, but, with that, comes huge amounts of opportunity to shape, create and deliver. You won’t need to reinvent the wheel, but will have opportunities such as reviewing and optimising our funnel from lead gen to conversion, tracking ROI and ROAS, along with identifying true CPA metrics and creating compelling multichannel digital experiences that deliver commercial goals and objectives.

Your day to day will also include;
  • Customer journey – perform touchpoint mapping across dieter and Consultant digital journeys to drive improvements that deliver engaging digital experiences and acquisition and retention strategies
  • Channel optimisation – manage all digital marketing channels and partner with wider commercial teams to ensure aligned activation to the commercial plan and content calendar
  • Performance metrics – perform ongoing analysis and measurement of KPIs including traffic, conversion and CPA, setting relevant SEO and PPC plans accordingly
  • Leadership – lead and develop our SEO/PPC Lead, providing guidance, feedback and development opportunities that align to a high performance culture
In what is a newly formed role within our Commercial function, you’ve got the opportunity to showcase best practice and how the right digital marketing strategies drive commercial growth and opportunity.

Am I the right person for this role?
You’ll bring demonstrable experience of creating and delivering commercially focused digital marketing strategies and initiatives, were you’ve taken a business or brand through a journey of change or transformation within the digital marketing landscape such as commercialised websites, apps or full funnel optimisation.

Whilst social media will form part of your role, this isn’t just about social. You’ll bring a strategic mindset where you can align with a wider commercial plan, understanding customer and consumer behaviour and can effectively own digital marketing tools and platforms where you can utilise your SEO, SEM and Keyword Search knowledge that drive results through paid advertising.

Building cross-functional relationships will be key to your success, along with patience, tenacity and resilience as you help us carve a new path in our ways of working – transitioning from past practices to the future.

Other key success indicators are;
  • Understanding of lead generation and funnel optimisation tactics
  • Successfully managed 3rd party agency relationships and performance
  • Campaign planning, delivery and activation
  • A data-driven approach to decision making
  • The ability to think pro-actively and not be afraid to challenge the status-quo
