What you can expect from us...

❤️‍🩹 Health & Wellbeing: We partner with Westfield Health to give you access to a range of health services, cash back plans, discounts, and perks. That’s not all, enjoy your Birthday off, on top of your 25 days holiday allowance, with option to purchase up to an additional 5 days each year.

💰 Business Performance Award: As a 100% employee-owned business, we share the rewards of the success of the business. Offering up to 10% salary as an annual reward, with up to £3600 of that being tax-free!

🙌 Recognition & Development: Find yourself in an environment ideally placed to showcase and recognise individual contributions, through our peer to peer Stakeholder Recognition scheme where you can celebrate your colleagues successes and vice versa. You can also benefit from our Stakeholder development initiatives throughout the year, designed to help you be the best you can be whatever your role.

What will I be doing?
You’ll become the engine room of our Product team, working collaboratively across our Commercial and Operations teams in supporting the development of product briefs and leading NPD and EPD projects, taking ownership for your own project portfolio, all whilst being supported by your colleagues.

You’ll have a real opportunity to see the direct impact of the products you launch, in an environment not driven by 3rd party briefs or agenda's set by retailers, giving us greater creative influence and input into our product ranges. Your project lifecycle will typically range from concept through to Gate 3 where we hand over to our Technical team who deliver product specifications and packaging requirements, enabling you to focus on what matters, creating great products!

You'll also;
  • Organise tasting sessions with internal stakeholders and support improvements to our tasting and sensory activity
  • Organise and run factory trials as part of our Stage & Gate framework
  • Conduct research on trends and competitor products

To support with factory trials, you’ll need to occasionally be available out of your standard hours such as an earlier start or later finish, but we're not talking the middle of the night.

Am I the right person for this job?
Key to success in this role is demonstrable experience and knowledge of the product development lifecycle in a food manufacturing environment, which could have come from a placement year or year in industry during your studies in Food Science, Nutrition or similar.

You may have even supported a product development project at various stages as it progressed through a development project. You'll want to develop your career in the product development space, utilising what you've already learned and showcase your creativity.

You’ll also bring;
  • Sound working knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint etc)
  •  A drive for creating brilliant products that are both nutritional and taste great
  • High attention to detail
  • A tenacity and passion for creating great products
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to partner with various internal and external stakeholders at all levels
This is your opportunity to bring your foodie culture and help inspire true innovation to our scientifically proven food products that help change the lives of thousands across the world.
